Social Studies

I've been interested in American history ever since I aced Mrs. Claren's 5th grade class. More recently, I've found technology and the countless ways it impacts our lives every day to be an equally interesting topic. These two slightly disparate subjects came together one day when the phrase Texts From The Titanic randomly entered my head. That whiff of an idea eventually evolved into a concept I now call Social Studies: Reimagining American History Through The Lens Of Social Media. Whether it becomes a coffee table book, a learning tool for tech-addicted ADHD tweens or just settles in as a section on this site, it’ll probably never be finished seeing as social media itself is never static. I’m ok with that, so here’s where I’m at for now.
